TEN AFTER DAWN

Ten After Dawn - Dark Synth Pop from Finland. Such a rare phrase to describe any Finnish music act usually, but for this trio it might be the best. The band are unique in Finland for their sound, just a few bands worldwide being easily compared with. You can hear influences from traditional synth pop all the way to central European EBM styles, whilst the melodies are always strong with clean vocals. Lyrics and the overall atmosphere are also set in a particular way, and they are also known for their intense and energetic live performances. Founding members Teemu Salo and Toni Viholainen came from a more traditional rock / pop background to arrive at this more electronic-based sound they play, it still affects their ways in making music for Ten After Dawn.
